Wood Court is a purpose-built Extra Care scheme. It offers safe, accessible and comfortable accommodation for older people. Residents can maintain their independence while having care and support close by.
The community has 39 self-contained one-bedroom apartments for single residents and couples. Each flat is wheelchair accessible and includes a level-entry shower, giving residents their own private space while supporting safety, dignity and independence.
Care and support staff are available on-site 24 hours a day, providing reassurance for residents and their families. Each apartment is fitted with an intercom and Delta alarm system, linked to on-site staff or, where required, a control centre for emergency support.

Wood Court has a warm and welcoming community feel, with shared spaces where residents can meet, socialise and take part in activities. The dining room and lounge are at the heart of the building, providing opportunities for residents to enjoy company, attend social clubs and take part in community activities.
Residents can also benefit from breakfast and lunch clubs, helping to promote routine, social interaction and wellbeing.

Who Wood Court Is For
Wood Court supports older people aged 55 and over who may be registered as disabled or assessed as having care and support needs. Residents usually require a minimum of 10 hours of support per week.
